The Greenwich Library is the busiest in Connecticut. Collections include 300,000 books, 8,000 videocassettes, 6,500 audiocassettess, 6,000 compact discs, 7,000 records, and archives for 1,000 magazines. The library also features guest lectures and children's theater programs, films concerts.
Perrot Memorial Library

The Perrot Memorial Library is a non-profit institution open to all residents of Greenwich and principally serving the residents of Old Greenwich, Riverside and North Mianus. The continuing goal of the Perrot Memorial Library is to help provide for the recreational, educational and information needs of the community. The library offers a substantial videotape collection, an excellent boating collection, and a well-stocked children's section.
Bruce Museum
One Museum Drive, Greenwich
The Bruce Museum houses an expansive collection in three areas: Painting and Decorative Arts including American Art of the 19th and 20th centuries; Cultural History including Native American artifacts; Natural History including minerals, fossils, and mounted specimens of birds, mammals and reptiles. The museum also has live marine specimens in a hands-on environment, and a free astronomy observation program at the Bowman Observatory at nearby Julian Curtiss School.
Bush-Holley House
39 Strickland Road, Cos Cob
The Bush-Holley House is owned and operated by the Historical Society of the Town of Greenwich. A National Historic Landmark, the house has been the center of a vigorous commercial district and later home to the painters and writers of America's first Impressionist Art Colony. Examine late 18th century Connecticut furniture, as well as paintings, sculpture and pottery.
Putnam Cottage
243 East Putnam Avenue, Greenwich
Putnam Cottage is owned and maintained by the Daughters of the American Revolution, Putnam Hill Chapter. General Israel Putnam once stayed in this tavern operating from the late 1600's. Currently, the Cottage is filled with 18th century furnishings.
